[Marketing Yourself] Draft 7 is ready!
One of my New Year’s Resolutions this year is to publish my new book in 2022, Marketing Yourself. I know I’ve been talking about it for a long time, but after moving for the 11th time in 11 years, I lost some steam on the project — then, I decided I need to reorganize all the chapters (twice).
Despite all the delays, I don’t feel badly that this book has taken so long; it’s important to me that this book is good, and revision makes things better.
I think this book is in good shape, and I hope you do, too.
Here’s the new and improved Table of Contents:
The 4 Cornerstones of your Personal Platform
1. Your Personal Statement
2. Mission-Based Messaging
3. Share Customer Stories
4. Personal Brand vs Business Brand
5. The 4-Step Marketing Cycle
6. Pushing vs Pulling
7. Free Samples Whet the Appetite
8. Calling to Action
9. Research Your Competition For Shortcuts
10. Selling to Small Target Audiences
11. The Buying Trigger of the Customer Avatar
12. Make Your Marketing an Adventure

Marketing Yourself is a Series of Failed Experiments
Now that Draft 7 is complete, I’m sharing the manuscript with early readers, and asking for endorsements (from those who think it’s worthy).
Since you’ve signed up to be on the waitlist for my book, I wanted to send you the link to the latest version first.
If you think it’s good, I’d be honored to have your endorsement. There is a link on page 2 to submit an endorsement for me to include in the beginning of the book.
I’ll send you an invitation to the Launch Party when it’s ready.
I’m looking forward to hearing your feedback!
